    Amazing New Mexican food! Great service every time. I love this place! Been eating here for over 15 years!! Best red Chile in Santa Fe!!

    Simple but clean place with very authentic Mexican food. The chicharron burritos were delicious. The people who work there are friendly and attentive. The customers seem to be mostly locals. It is a small place so service is a bit slow.

    The food is divine and the portions are generous. You definitely get bang for the buck. Their sopapillas are large and perfectly cooked. My two favorites, enchiladas and rellenos, taste just like home cooking. This is definitely on my favorite restaurants list.❤

    I read all the Great Reviews and had a former co-worker who Highly Recommended this restaurant a few years back. I decided to finally try it. Just a forewarning that the menu posted here needs to be taken down as the prices and food items are no longer accurate which initially disappointed me a bit based on my budget and what I was looking forward to eating (sadly, Caldo De Res is no longer available...I really wanted to try it). So just know this before going in. The prices are higher than online menu suggests. Now, as far as my experience, it was Quite Good. My Waitress was Outstanding and brought out chips and salsa. I was honest and open about what I could afford in light of the different menu and she was Understanding and Compassionate. The Salsa Is Great! I ordered the Pinto Bean hand help burrito with green chili on the side. Simple yet delicious. The only reason I am putting four stars for now is that I would like to be able to go back and try more dynamic meals there once I can afford them. All in all the service stands out and I had no complaints during my visit.

    Never judge a book by it's cover nor external appearance. This is not one of those huge fancy places to eat but it's very decent, nice and friendly stuff and awesome food. I plan to return here to enjoy some good delicious food each time am in Santa fe NM. Marvelous city, lots of history. So much to enjoy. Thanks to my Local friend Pedro B. for introducing me to EL Comal Restaurant.
